Tinkering with mirrors and redefining the landscape. In these pictures I hope to create a place of contemplation, serenity, and mystery.

This lens-based work depends on a mirrored kaleidoscope device that is positioned in front of the camera in a myriad of locations on a tripod. As the image is captured, it pulls elements from different parts of the landscape and rearranges them into an enigmatic composition that engenders wonder and provokes a questioning of material reality.
